all i drink is water all day so i kno for sure im not dehydrated and i can;t excersize cuz the breathing problems
Do you drink enough water??
Dehydration is a possibility ~ some of the symptoms of dehydration are puffy bags under your eyes, dark circles under your eyes, constant yawning, dizzy spells and loss of balance, headaches and migraines and constipation and bloating and cramping and foggy thinking, irritability and moodiness….. :0)
Are you sure you aren’t just dehydrated buddy?? Expecting your digestive system to digest food and transport essential vitamins and nutrients with no water in your system is an extremely huge ask ………… actually puffiness anywhere in your body is a signal that your body is hanging on to the little bit of water that you have and are getting very dehydrated …… Water is imperative to life. Without water your body will have a terrible time breathing, digesting food, transporting nutrients, lubricating your joint sockets etc.etc.etc.etc……… nothing substitutes for water. your body needs at least 2 – 3 litres of water daily to function efficiently Geez, we need at least 2 litres daily just to maintain aspiration (to breathe)!! so drink up buddy ?
Increase your intake of fresh filtered water 20 minutes before or after meals so as to enhance digestion rather than interfere with it …………… if you drink fluids during your meals it will only serve to dilute your digestive juices and hinder digestion ?
also, try to cut back on drinks such as coffee, tea, alcohol, sodas and soft drinks (if you drink any of them) which will all do great job of dehydrating you. ie: just 1 can of soda or soft drink will make your body peesh out up to 12 cups of water !!! 1 cup of coffee will make your body peesh out about 2 cups of water ……….. read the book by F. Batmanghelidj, M.D…. "Your body’s many cries for water"…… an astounding and scary and very true read.
hope this helps?

Do you know of any "paid" clinical trials for Anxiety, Panic attacks, or sleep disorders in Lancaster PA ?
I am only looking for Paid clinical trials.
Please, we have no income, and 5 kids.
I know the Penn State Hershey Med Center occasionally has paid clinical trials for those things. Maybe you can look on their website or call. It shouldn’t be too bad of a drive depending on where live in Lancaster.

CPAP Question; How do I wean myself off a CPAP machine?
I have lost a great deal of weight and no longer have sleep apnea issues. I can sleep without the CPAP machine, but sometimes just like to put it on anyway. I guess I am just used to it as a habit or comfort thing. How do I wean myself off of it and start going to sleep without it?
You need to revisit the doctor who prescribed the CPAP machine and have another set of sleep studies done to reaffirm the idea that you no longer need it.
Until you’re cleared of the necessity of it by a doctor, I don’t recommend you sleeping without it.

I have no solution, all I can say is it will pass, the boys will grow up and you will get your life back.
You are having such a tough time and problems probably seem endless and unsurmountable. You certainly have your hands full and I sympathise.
Could you maybe see a different doctor? A second opinion might help.
There is quite a lot of stuff online, Google ADHD treatment.
How often should a person get a complete blood count and why?
I am 53, male, former smoker(I smoked for 19 years and quit in 1992). I do not drink.
I have epilepsy(since 1966), Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease(since birth), essential non-pulmonary hypertension, gastro-esophageal disease, BPH, complex central sleep apnea.
Could you please cite your sources for your answer, i.e., National Institute of Health, American Heart Association, etc. Thank you
Everyone is unique and no one person is the same, so as their health. There is no specific guidelines to how often should the physician check your CBC. Your physician will determine the frequency according to your need. The decision will mainly be affected by your current health (more ill, more frequent), your medication and the physician preference. There is some recommendation to some medication of how often should the physician check your blood work (may not be CBC). Also some physician like to check it more frequently than others.
If you really want to know, you should ask your primary physician, s/he know your health the best.
Do you know anything about children sleep disorders?
I have a 3 year old little boy and while he is sleeping, he will yell out, "No" and similar angry statements. I have searched the net about it, but all they say is not to wake him up. But sometimes he gets physical so then I do wake him up so he can realize that no one is out to get him hoping to get him to calm down but sometimes he won’t wake up.
they are called night terrors. and 99% of the time they do not remember them the next morning. sometimes when their little brain is sleeping it has so much to process that these things happen. my son has had them for several years. things that work for us: the last hour before bed is very calm… no tv, no bright overhead lights, just a lamp, just read stories, try to be quiet and gentle, cuddle, etc, the hour before that is for snacks and baths… he will probably out grow them. as long as he does not hurt himself or others do not worry about it. if he is getting physical and endangering himself consult your pediatrician. either way, research night terrors. Good luck. email me if you wanna talk!
if one’s cpap (for sleep apnea) setting is too high, what symptoms will they notice?
don’t just say go to the doctor as he was wrong and I wore cpap for 3 years and they later found after years of my insisting the results from the sleep study were not right (as I only slept a half hour due to them testing me when I normally was awake (I havedelayed sleep phase syndrome and am up in daytime) and finally convincing them to repeat it when I normally slept) they found that for three years I was getting almost NO rem sleep or stage three or four restorative sleep and the setting was way too low and although I looked like I was sleeping had essentially no benefits from sleep and still had all symptoms of sleep apnea..so I don’t trust them..even after they upped setting– still no benefits I can detect except no morning headaches
Now I have a new machine that can be set higher and want to know HOW can I tell if it is TOO high. The tecnicians said I’d have chest pains and not be able to sleep or fall asleep..anything else or more details on this is what I m seeking. Thanks
At higher than optimal pressures, many things can occur. Such as, headaches, pain in the throat or sinuses, pain in the chest and lungs, aerophagia, bleeding ears, bleeding nose, and the irritation that comes from difficulty in exhaling comfortably.
At lower than optimal pressures you may experience daytime sleepiness, wake up feeling unrefreshed, snoring, untreated apnea.
hope you soon feel better!
What is the record time of someone staying up without sleep. (Normal people, no sleep disorders)?
What is the record time of someone staying up without sleep. (Normal people, no sleep disorders)
Please don’t lie, I am tring to prove a friend wrong!
I don’t know, but I know that if you stay awake for 72 hours or more you begin to suffer effects similar to Paranoid Schizophrenia. Scary. Go to sleep people!
