There are many kinds of "generators". We have a small one but I don’t think it would stay charged all through the night, and it would need to get plugged in the next day.
You can find generators that take gasoline and will run for very long periods. Try looking at places that sell hardware, sporting goods, ATVs and camping gear. Good Luck.

Generators,even small ones, are loud,and it’s doubtful that the campground will allow that after quiet time,which is usually 10 pm.My only suggestion is to go to a campground that offers electricity on the sites.Usually family campgrounds,so a state forest is probably out of the question.
