I use a saline nasal spray every night before I put my cpap on, it helps to moisturize everything.

A burn? Sounds like perhaps your humidifier is not properly attached to your machine. Double check with your machine instructions to make sure everything is attached the way is should be. If it is, then I would still contact the provider of your machine. In addition, you may also want to try adjusting your headgear and make sure it is not fitted too snuggly on your face. You should not be experiencing this type of side effect. The only side effects that I have heard or seen w/a CPAP is congestion or dry nose.

Use a tiny bit of petroleum jelly in your nose before bed. It will protect your nasal passages from the CPAP air.
